The Tutor

The Tutor
From day one, I knew it had begun,

I was in over my head, no direction to run but to the sun,
Once I caught my breath, I began assessment on the aftermath,
Knowing failure is not an option,

After much time looking at my reflection,
I swallowed my pride, and asked for advice, it came to my attention,
Tutoring was a real solution, I surrendered to the program,

Given a tutor, for the first time ever, ready for the merger of knowledge,
He explained to me how he learned calculus on a wooden ruler,

Where concept after concept came to life, I watched the turning point in this great strife,
And now I know it can be done,
Thanks to my tutor, I had won.
